Here is the insider’s scoop on getting to the Summer Market at Pioneer Park and parking.
Two Hour Street Parking: All street parking on Saturday allows for 2 hour free parking.
FREE PARKING at The Gateway: The Gateway generously offers free parking for market patrons! First hour is free, and validations for subsequent hours can be picked up any market info booth.
GREENBike: Take a GREENBike from any GREENBike station and park it at the docking station on the street island in front of Caputo’s.
Ride TRAX: There are 2 TRAX stops close to The Gateway (Arena and Planetarium) Plan your trip!

Winter 2025-2026

Here is the insider’s scoop on getting to the Winter Market at the Gateway and parking.
Parking for The Leonardo: An underground parking facility can be accessed from westbound 500 S or eastbound 400 S between 200 and 300 E. Take your ticket to the Salt Lake Public Library, scan it for validation, and park for up to two hours free ($1.50 per half hour after that). Payment is accepted via credit or debit card only.
Street Parking: Street parking, with a 4-hour limit on Saturdays, is $3.50 an hour.
Public Transportation: Civic Center is easily accessed by many methods of public transit. The TRAX Red Line Library Station sits on 400 S and is part of the UTA Free Fare Zone. Bus lines 228, 455, and 473 stop on the north side of 400 S across from the Salt Lake Public Library. There is also a Green Bike station in between the Library and The Leonardo.
ADA accommodation: Stalls for those needing handicap access are available on 200 E and in the Library Square underground parking garage.
