The Liberty Market is a dynamic and diverse shopping experience. Safety is an important consideration for any urban setting. The Liberty Market Team and all our vendors care about your safety and security.

  • If you drive to the market, please lock your car and put all valuables in the trunk or out of sight.
  • If a panhandler approaches you, a polite “no” is the best response to any request.
  • If you see something, say something. Farmers Market staff will have a uniform shirt with a Farmers Market logo. Please alert a member of our team who can address whatever concerns you might have.
  • There is an official Farmers Market Info booth mid-block on the east side of the park.
  • A first aid is located at the market info booth.
  • The Liberty Market hires security officers to be on site for the duration of the market who patrol the park.
  • For a non-emergency police response, call 801-799-DNTN (3686) to speak to the sergeant in charge of the Downtown Bike Patrol. In an emergency please call 911.

WE grow a variety of fruits and vegetables for local farmers markets, and CSA customers, YOU can add beef and eggs to YOUR veggie shares.

Information for Art and Craft Vendors

The Art and Craft category is for Utah resident artists who hand-make arts and/or crafts. Sub categories include: jewelry, glass work, leather work, mixed, paper crafts, photography, textiles, woodwork, ceramics, sculpture, personal care, metalwork, printmaking, painting and home decor.

Art and Craft Requirements

  • Certificate of Liability Insurance for $1,000,000

Policies and Guidelines

Becoming a Vendor

Applications are accepted online at Zapplication.org. Applications do not result in an automatic acceptance into the Market. All applications are reviewed by a committee of jurors. Once the review has taken place vendors will be notified of their status as invited, alternate or not invited. Notifications will be sent to the email provided in the application by the end of March. A nonrefundable application fee of $50 is required upon submission.

2024 Saturday Booth Fees

  • Full Season: $1200.00
  • Half Season: $600.00
  • Day Stall: $65.00/day

2023/2024 Winter Market Booth Fees

Day Stall: $50.00/day

We are no longer accepting applications for this season. Any additional spots we may have are reserved for wait-listed vendors who applied to the Market. We do not accept any vendors who did not apply to the Summer Market, as all vendor applications are scored by a jury then placed into the Market.

FRUITS AND VEGGIES: apriums, arugula, basil, beet greens, beets, blackberries, cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, cherry tomatoes, chives, cilantro, corn, cucumbers, currants, dill, edible flowers, eggplant, garlic, green beans, green onions, head lettuce, herbs, hot peppers, kale, lettuce, melons, microgreens, mushrooms, mustard greens, new potatoes, onions, oregano, parsley, pak choi, peaches, peppers, plums, radishes, rainbow chard, raspberries, rhubarb, rosemary, sage, sorrel, spearmint, spinach, spring salad mix, sun shoots,  summer squash, sweet peppers, thyme, tomatoes, tomatillos, Toscano kale, turnips, watermelon, zucchini. 

OTHER FARM FRESH PRODUCTS: beef, chicken, eggs, honey, local milk and cheese, lamb, llama, plants, pork, and yogurt.

The Downtown Farmers Market is a dynamic and diverse shopping experience that is helping to transform an urban neighborhood. Safety is an important consideration for any urban setting. The Farmers Market Team and all our vendors care about your safety and security.

  • If you drive to the market, please lock your car and put all valuables in the trunk or out of sight.
  • If a panhandler approaches you a polite “no” is the best response to any request.
  • If you are walking to the Market from surrounding blocks, please be aware of your surroundings and take an interest in other patrons or the street environment.
  • If you see something say something. Farmers Market staff wear gray polo shirts with our Downtown Farmers Market logo. Please alert a member of  our team who can address whatever concerns you might have.
  • There are official Farmers Market booths midblock on the North and South sides of the Park.
  • A first aid booth is located in the center of the park.
  • The Downtown Farmers Market hires four Salt Lake City police officers to be on site for the duration of the market and also provides private security officers who patrol the park.
  • For a non-emergency police response, call 801-799-DNTN (3686) to speak to the sergeant in charge of the Downtown Bike Patrol. In an emergency please call 911.
